Kathryn Barr

Rev. Kathryn Rateliff-Barr has lived and worked in ministry most of her life. She has pastored churches, worked in jail ministry to pregnant and parenting inmates and taught extensively in various venues. She teaches parenting and relationship skills, Bible classes and natural health skills. She loves conducting marriages, christenings and baptistms and signing music in ASL.

She has taught in private schools and homeschool, including working as a homeschool consultant and the lead teacher of a homeschool cooperative. She wrote curriculum for the Texas Education Agency and for homeschool parents.

Her jail program won a national award in 2004 for one of the 100 most successful volunteer programs in the U.S. run by a woman. Midwifery Today published an article about her jail program in Spring 2000.

She writes education, craft, midiwfery, religion and spirituality, alternative health, parenting and relationship topics.
